Early Career Researchers Workshop
The workshop’s Scientific Organising Committee have dedicated the Wednesday morning during the meeting to an Early Career Researchers Workshop.
This event will welcome ECRs from across our CMIP community, together with senior scientists for a morning of discussion, networking, and collaboration. We welcome anyone to join, regardless of career stage. You can sign-up for free via the workshop registration form.
Format
The workshop will combine three sessions:
- Scientific exploration
- Networking for Networks: An ECR networks event for people who hate networking
- Having impact in CMIP as an ECR: a world cafe
There will also be a coffee break, and we will move from the final session into lunch together.
Throughout the day, there will be chances to learn about Fresh Eyes on CMIP, hear from and discuss with CMIP Panel members, and meet with fellow ECRs in the CMIP Community.
For those joining CMIP 2026 virtually, you will also be able to join aspects of the ECR workshop online. We will share more details in the coming months.
