How to upload presentation materials

For each abstract, you should have received an email from Oxford Abstracts, inviting you to upload your presentation materials. If you cannot find this email, the button below will take you to your dashboard, where you can access the presentation upload for each of your abstracts.

Uploading presentation materials is open from 17 February 2026. You must have completed your file upload by:

  1. For in-person oral presentations: slide upload is required by 20:00 JST the evening before your presentation
  2. For virtual oral presentations: slide and video recording upload is required by 20:00 JST the evening before your presentation
  3. For virtual posters: a PDF of your poster is required by 23:59 UTC, 6th March 2026
  4. For in-person posters with a lightning talk: slide upload is required by 20:00 JST the evening before your lightning talk, and a PDF of your poster is required by the day of your presentation
  5. For in-person posters: a PDF of your poster is required by the day of your presentation
  6. For MIP showcase lightning talks: please email your side to the CMIP IPO by 12:00 UTC, 8 March 2026. If we do not receive your slide by this date, we will simply put a slide with your MIP name on for you to talk in front of.

Once in your Oxford Abstracts dashboard, click ‘Edit’ next to each abstract title to complete the file upload form.

Please note, only the original abstract submitter (i.e. the ‘abstract owner’) can upload the materials. If you are presenting for an abstract which you did not submit, please contact the CMIP IPO to change the abstract owner.

How do I change my presentation file after upload?

You are welcome to replace your presentation file after upload up to the deadline outlined above for your presentation type. To replace your presentation file, simply go to your Oxford Abstracts dashboard, click the ‘Edit’ button next to the abstract you wish to update. If you scroll down to the ‘Presentation upload’ question, you will see you have two options:

  1. Download uploaded file – use this to check which file you have previously uploaded
  2. Replace file – use this to replace your current presentation file. Please note, if you do this, your previous file will be deleted from the system automatically.

Guidelines

  1. Acceptance of an abstract and its inclusion in the programme of CMIP 2026 obliges the author or one of the co-authors to present the contribution at the time and in the manner indicated. If you know that your presentation will not be presented, you are asked to withdraw your abstract as soon as possible.
  2. Ensure that all images in presentations are attributed, including those from Wikipedia.
  3. If presentations include maps, authors are asked to adhere to United Nations naming conventions.
  4. All attendees must adhere to WCRP’s Code of Conduct
